The mission of Women in Medicine is to create a safe space for those pursuing a career in healthcare and give back to the community. We promote the well-being of our members while they further their education at VCU for future medical careers. We serve as leaders of academic excellence and help others achieve their goals in the field as well. We give back to the local community through volunteer efforts and dedicated support.
Our members receive t-shirts after participating in a list of events. These events include 2 general body meetings, 2 volunteer events, an advisory session, and the mentorship program. Members in good standing also receive a pink and white graduation cord in their senior year.
