  • Do I have to be majoring in Mechanical Engineering to join?

    No, you do not, all majors are welcome and encouraged to join! We would love to have you!

  • Do I have to pay to join?

    You do not have to pay to join ASME at VCU! However, some benefits (like going to competitions) require an ASME Global Membership. This is free for your first year and discounted for following years.

  • How do I get involved?

    Come to our GBMs! (Yes, it's that easy.) You will learn about the many opportunities we have to get involved!

  • What kinds of competitions does ASME take part in?

    Every year, we compete in the Innovative Additive Manufacturing 3D Challenge. You can look at our past designs here!
