The primary purpose of GWA is to schedule and host Moveable Feast, the graduate student reading series, which showcases fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and other alternative modes of writing. The Moveable Feast reading series is a cornerstone of the MFA program and provides a platform for writers to present creative work to the greater VCU and Richmond community. Moveable Feast also serves as the final thesis presentation for third-year MFA students graduating from the program.
